Output Devices for Tactile Enhanced Communication
The subject of this work is the missing physicality in digital media. There are little alternatives to mouse and keyboard. Especially when communicating through digital media, often something is missing.
Based on working with different material and thinking about technical possibilities this short film is an asthetical exploration of new ways of communication.
A smile for example can be felt with the hands through a vibration.
The connection shall be intensified, but not by imitating a real touch gesture, but by developing a new tactile language.
